So I've wanted to do engineering with a mechanical major but having doubts that I'll hit UNSW cutoffs

Right now I'm considering either UTS or UOW but unsure as to which would be more beneficial to study at.

I've also received an early offer to study at UOW which is a consideration

UoW has a lot of private engineering industry surrounding it, and the lecturers have good contacts with that market.
UTS has the strength of 2x 6-month work experiences in the degree. It will mostly be office consulting-based engineering but there is a huge range of options to select from.
Both are good options- pick the one that you think might suit your lifestyle better for those next 4-5 years. Both UoW and UTS have strong engineering degrees.
