I am enrolled at UTS for a Software Engineering Degree but just gor accepted into USYD for Computer Science & Technology.

Can any of you give me some insight into which would be better. The UTS course is a 5 year course with 2 subjects with unnecessary maths theory whereas the USYD degree is 3 years with less specific maths topics and seem to be more manageable.

The reason I can change is because I am enrolled in the August round. Help me out guys which is better for me.

Thanks

UTS SENG is 5 years?

USyd's degree isn't a SENG degree but is essentially the same content as their IT or Sc(CS) degrees so if you want a more theoretical understanding of CS then I'd switch over (and even consider doing a 4th honours yr). I've heard UTS is a more practical course, sometimes to its detriment.
