The handbook shows you your course outline. Find your course and then use it to see what subjects you should do and when, and other things like classes which have prerequisite or co requites.
Once you know what classes you want to do type their codes in here:
http://platformweb.uws.edu.au/pweb_tt/start.asp
Plan out your timetable (uws doesn't give you one, you have to plan it yourself) and enrol in the classes you want and can do.
You can not select specific tutorials or lectures until next month (they do a free-for-all thing) so be cautious when choosing about possible clashes and have a back up plan.
Oh, and make sure when choosing classes you pick the right campus and right time.
When I first started I kept choosing the wrong campus in the evening and it took me a while to figure out why nothing worked well
You can enrol with UWS and then later un-enrol if you want to accept another offer.
I'm not sure what the last day to accept an offer is, but you should receive a letter in the mail letting you know (you still have a bit of time, so don't rush and panic)
I hope that helps!
