coem in and join!!!
log into webct, on the webct hoempage (the pages that display all your enrolled subjects), they have the announcements on your RHS and click "want to meet other students", it will opne into a new page and click that link, and you got campus connection on your webct.

you have discussion boards, notice boards, caht, a uws survey, studny tips and student resources.

not many are using it but if you can try and get mroe people to use it the better, of course its not an alternative to BOS either, so go to both if you want!
notes:
the thing is permanenr so if you dont want the crap, dont register for it.

er...yes, but this isnt a subject, its a webct wide forum for students. uws has implemented this to foster a common feel and to let us meet other students...

EDIT: also you go to usyd, so this doesnt apply to you i think...not that i know if usyd has this sort of thing. thsi is a uws thing.

um..since you're nto a uws student you wouldnt know but our web ct has the unist we do, plu the campus connection, plus general school pages eg law school has a whole page connected to it with law society msgs n employment stuff plus you have general notices plus there's sections if you did writing workshops and stuff...

yeah i joined it just coz it was there..havent even looked at it yet

hmm ... its a pretty good idea though. We have a discussion board for urban geography - i didn't recognise anyone that posted. Maybe cause I never turn up to class but its pretty good. We talk about all sorts of things.

Its not like anyone would be able to find me at Hawkesbury unless someone somehow manages to be in my class.

hehe..i was at penrith and this guy pokes me and says "i'm suchandsuch on BOS, we talked last nite" im like oh hey.....how are ya blah etc.
but i described where i sat adn what i wear so maybe thats not a good idea after all...

I saw someone off bos at strathfield station yesterday - i ran as fast as I could I didn't want to be decked by them.

No one goes to the north campus really - laraB and Jon leave half an hour before class starts. And I am always running late

No one really goes to Hawkesbury. And I don't bother turning up to class in Blacktown, so I'm pretty safe from all the stalkers out there

nah..i think there is an unwirtten law for BOS people to not stalk others...i hope. i mean i havent and frankly dont have the time...but even if i did have the time, waht would oyu say? hi, errr i hate uws admin too!!! or something similar to that...
