System Maintenance Cancelled

System maintenance scheduled for Sun Apr 10, 2005 has been cancelled. The Online Teaching Facility will be available as normal.

Although I bet they'll just own us with some kind of super long maintenance later..

WebCT went down mainly because of another system which changed internally
and bad information got fed into WebCT. Other problems have been network
related.

There are people available if they want to do things at 3am, the uni just
has to be prepared to pay. But then the people can't come into work the
next day for OHS reasons, a lost day/half day.

WebCT's busiest times are in the evening until after midnight. 4am and
onwards is when it's quiet enough to be able to piss a minimal amount
of people off. There is a big outage on the weekend of the 7th May, so
plan to go surfing (web or water) then.
