Sorry for being so random folks but I'd just like to ask all the folks of UWS if WebCT is down right now. Us management people need it for our assignments due tomorrow.

this is so frustrating because i work all day and when you come home to check what has happened during the day you can't uws IT people need to send emails around when they are going to do this type of stuff

Weekend Commencing 9:00pm Friday April 27 through to 11:00am Sunday
April 29.

Staff & student "My Documents", roaming profiles and common file shares
will be unavailable from 9pm Friday for around 5-6 hours due to the
installation of new storage equipment.

General purpose teaching labs at Campbelltown campus will be unavailable
between 9am and 11am Saturday due to a power upgrade

Central UWS IT services (including email, WebCT, and Library) will be
unavailable from 4:30pm on Saturday through to around 7-8am on Sunday.
This is due to the need to carry out urgent electrical work in the
Penrith data centre.

There will also be short disruptions to various Web-based applications
(5-10 mins each) between approx 8am and 11am Sunday. These include:
MyUWS student portal and Platform Web due to server upgrades.

As is our normal procedure, these works have been scheduled at a time
intended to cause the least amount of inconvenience to students and
staff of UWS. Any inconvenience caused is regretted.

Hahaha its been down many times in the short time that I've been here. If you had a look at the date of her post it was a while earlier than the scheduled downtime above.
