i've interrupted my joint readings of ian kershaw's autobiography of hitler and no logo, by naomi klein to read Trainspotting.

I was scared at the start because I thought the whole thing would be written in that Hagridesque scottish accent. Most of it is, but its easy to understand now.

Its really good! Except now in real life I keep thinking everyone's a heroin addict.

Has anyone read the sequel, Porn?

Um...just finished my English text, so I might give the 'Handmaid's Tale' a go. Wt do youse reckon? Is it good/bad?
I loved it enough to go and read much of Atwood's other work which was all brilliant as well.

Actually, I haven't been reading much at all lately, so I thought I'd pick up a book today. I decided to break in a copy of Lolita I bought last year but hadn't got around to starting. I really, really like the writing style.

The Bible

Cover to Cover. Purely to read it as a story, and not in the search for religious enlightenment.

^ I bought a Bible from Dymocks like two weeks ago too for leisure reading. It's the Good New's bible, basically just translated into everyday english.

Today i have just finished reading Misery by Stephen King. As of now, it is my favourite book. iunno if it's infront of The Catcher in the Rye though XD!

And now i have started a new novel which i bought last week; Pride and Prejudice and Zombies by Jane Austen and Seth Grahame-Smith.

I'm currently reading a book called Dead Before Dark, by Charlaine Harris.
It's pretty good, and about "real" vampires, not animal-killing, sparkle-in-the-sun pussies.
