at the moment I'm reading "The world according to the simpsons: What our favourite family says about life, love and the pursuit of the perfect donut". Lotsa fun. U get to learn what the show says about 'Western cultural hegemonies' and 'American exceptionalism' lol. Apart from the fact that the author has a fetish with nominalization it's a rlly insightful read (for media+cultural studies junkies like me neways)

Harris' last 2 were bloody awesome. But I don't have enough moolah to buy "Rising" yet . I spent an hour reading it in in the books section of Big W before the sales assistant came over to me and said I either had to buy the book or get out.
