don't 'prepare' essays. Practice them.

Write study notes - this one can't be stressed enough. Whether you write or type them, you need to get them out now, because trust me, you won't have time later.

Also, you would be an idiot not to read your prescribed texts for english.

Don't do any past papers either. Save them for the period after the trials.

And make mistakes now - so you don't have to make them in an exam/the hsc

None.
Do not compose pre-prepared responses for HSC English.
You may not answer the question and will ultimately learn nothing.
nah, i just want to practise essay writing and pick up my English game, it's my worst subject lol

I started 4 weeks late for English and Math and like 6 weeks late for Biology, Modern History and Studies of Religion II (Distance ed sucks!). So my holidays will be spent:

Revise the Maintaining a Balance chapter for Biology
Complete weeks 2-9 of Studies of Religion II
Revise the Post 1945 chapter of SOR II
Revise the Judaism chapter for SOR II
Complete Judaism essay for SOR II
Complete 1st chapter of Math (missed it cause I started late).
Finish off whatever I don't finish before school's out of Chapter 4 for Math
And more than likely Chapter 5 of Math.
Complete weeks 2-9 of Modern History
Complete WWI summary for Modern History.
Write up some notes for English

I also want to head up to QLD to see a friend for atleast a week in these coming holidays. :( Hopefully I will get all of that done.

Farrout, you'll be busy.

My Goals:
  • Finish off Volumes in 4U math + revise older topics
  • Revise 3U maths (because I'll be repeating it)
  • Prepare a decent essay structure for English AOS
  • Write an essay for English + Reading Tasks
  • Read next English text
  • Finish off first Chem topic in notes
  • Complete Chemistry assessment due in ~week 3
  • Finish off SORI notes
  • Start up and try do as much as possible of Philosophy course
  • A little bit of revising before school goes back of Chemistry and Physics to get my mind back into it

Woah, I have a fair bit to do actually...

All this after Christmas though. I am taking it off until the new year.
