i'm really starting to like the student study lounge next to clb. there's always just the right 'space' there to suit what i want to do, whether it's plug my laptop into a powerpoint (hard to come by in the library...well on the ground floor anyway), spread out a massive amount of paperwork all over a desk, or pretend to sleep in a corner somewhere...

plus, it's conveniently located close to most of my lecture theatres and lab classes, and not too far away from my favourite coffee place on campus (biblio). so it's 'win' all round

i like that place too. at first i thought it was a place for exchange students cause it said 'euro exchange' lol.

it kind of feels like first year again in session 1 except some subjects are more difficult.

people have had their stuff stolen in there, people have been harrassed, people have had their stuff stolen.

Did you know if you get 4 for the assignment, its exactly like a 0/5

So if you get a mark of 5/5 then you get "1 mark" if you get 4/5 you get 0

You only do 2 subjects of law in the first year, and that they make you do combined, and that commerce have free options. So people like me can have 1 year to consider whether or not to drop law without falling behind.

Did you know if you get 4 for the assignment, its exactly like a 0/5

So if you get a mark of 5/5 then you get "1 mark" if you get 4/5 you get 0

i know this is what causes me a lot of grief sometimes. to see 'your mark is 4' and know that it means nothing.
lol, first time me and my friend tackled the first assignment, we both got the message 'your mark is 1', and we thought that was all we needed to get (because like you said, each assignment equates to '1 mark') then we found out we had to get a 5. back we went the next day...

*sigh* really not a fan of chemistry!
