Hi all,

a job that I'm very interested in requires one to have an "open mind." I don't really know what that means (it seems that the meaning it entails is very "general" and often open to interpretation and I would love to have a clearer idea what that means), but that's what people mentioned to be mandatory to be a perfect fit for the job. Please tell me what having an "open mind" means, especially when it comes to work.

Thanks a lot!

Open mind usually means that they want to push you around with shifts/pay and they want you to be happy with what you've got. Essentially they just want you to be open to new ideas and learn new things easily (no fuss at work).
