Revise constantly, or you forget things that you thought you learnt throughly =/

I've learnt taking school days off to study is bad.
Cramming is bad as well.

I'll change that next term.

I've learnt that doing little things over a long period of time probably helps. e.g. revising before I forget what i've learnt.

I actually find cramming very effective.

It'd just be more helpful if I revised a bit more consistently beforehand...

Making notes should happen weeks before the exam and not the day before.

Cramming is effective, but I've learnt that maybe consistent study is better. So I might try it for the HSC year :/

I'll actually try better in my assignments and assessments, as they've let me down. Even though I do pretty good in the exams, the marks that I have received for my assignments and assessments (and their actual weightings) have pulled my rank down.

Need... to study... consistently.

It's the other way around for me. My exams are going to crush me under their 70%s, 60%s. While my Assignments, hopefully, will pull me up.

I don't know why cramming works but it works for me.

But I'll change that next year. =)

well ive learnt to take a break every once and a while.

if i have an assessment due on monday, and its the weekend, i would avoid going out as i would feel 'guilty'.

however, as im at home doing this 'assignment' i'd tend to drift off and not focus on the task at hand.

my choice of putting my studies ahead of my leisure isnt necessarily the right thing.

im sure if i have a good time during the weekend day, id feel more fresh and eager to work on my assignment at night.

ohh yeah, ive also leant that i study so much better at night time.

woah.. i wrote alot

I should do more schoolwork, like maybe study and start assignments more than 2 days before they're due. :p

Not to leave things 'till the last minute, lol.

I think I need to set a deadline for myself to study before tests are on or assignments are due :mad1: And I think I may even need a stupid time schedule thingy.

I have learnt that you usually need to study more than an hour for every exam and to do work as well during the year. Otherwise you may do quite badly.. lol. like I have.

That for everything except the science/math subjects, the HSC is not so much about working hard as it is fluking assignments.

In short, in a couple of weeks exams will be over. And i will never have to do the preliminary HSC again.
