uni, it was raining, which was good, and cold, which was shit. shame the two things usually go together....i like the cold but not when there's wet involved.

- blue straight leg jeans...which i have now worn for three days in a row because i wasnt home all weekend and forgot to actually bring other pants :s
- gray chain-print top (NOT worn for 3 days, i did remember to bring tops)
- green jacket (it was a bit of a colour crime, but i was cold and screw being colour coordinated, i didnt want pneumonia)
- white sneakers
- green crystal necklace
- hair out and kinda going a bit wavy on account of the moisture, and such.

i am normally not a thong person AT ALL even in summer but i have to say that after today i am considering it...i was at uni, it was pouring rain at weirdo intervals, and the flats i was wearing didnt do anything to keep the wet out. to the contrary, i stepped in a (shallow!) puddle and water sloshed in at the sides and all day i had that rank squelch feeling of wetness in your shoes

but yeah, i was/am wearing dark denim skinnies, a pink tshirt, brown jacket, brown-pink-orange-maroon scarf, black flats and my hair was frizzing to the extreme on account of being constantly rained on/windblown/caught on doorhandles and stuff (its long).

Today-
Beautifully warm, double-breasted short (not cropped) black jacket from target of all places. I realised today that it makes my legs look miles long. Win.
Old very loved Led Zeppelin tee with a hole in the armpit. Needs to be fixed.
Bootcut blue jeans from just jeans.
El Cheapo black suede boots. Did not keep the puddles out. WANT GUMBOOTS.
Hair out and wavy.

But right now-
Little sister's dry jeans
Mum's warm jacket
Fuzzy ugg boots
Hair in ponytail.

I'm trying to decide whether or not to go looking for plain red ones, or go crazy with puddlebeach ones, OR just look for waterproof leather boots.
