but is anyone out there living/studying in victoria at the moment who knows the percentiles for the universities in vic?

only one undergrad med university in vic which is monash. i think the cutoff was in the low 90 percentiles. cbf looking it up but i think last year's entry was 93%ile?

In my opinion the 90th percentile (which is roughly a 180 raw score) is a good mark in the UMAT.

I didnt realise 180 would give u 90th %tile.

not bad i guess.

I thought 160ish was like 55th %tile last yr.
actually pretty sure it was.

65 %tile sounds right. Just remember the bell curve (think it was mentioned before). In the raw marks ranged 170 - 180, thats pretty much each mark higher = one percentile higher. Then it gets to a few marks every percentile in 180+. In my year someone got 195 and thats like 98%tile, 210 is 99%tile and 100%tile was like >214.

For ppl that are not rural, usually need >175 raw marks to get an interview, and >185 gets you pretty much interviews in ALL uni's.

I heard last year that a raw score of around 210 would get you on the 100th percentile but usually in the past it has ben quite higher.
