If I were to drop a subject without any financial or academic penalties, what is the census date? Is it the 31st of March - just wanting to make sure. If I drop the subject before census date will the dropped subject still show on my academic transcript or affect my wam?

thank you

No, you can drop up to the census date (31st). It won't show on your transcript.

If you want to enrol into a course, you will need to seek various levels of approval.

ok thanks for confirming. so no applications need to be filled out or anything to drop out...just dropping it from myunsw would be enough? btw, I deferred my course payments using HECs - i wouldn't need to claim or file anything right?

You can just drop directly from myUNSW. No forms.

HECS will update itself automatically (if prior to the census date).
