What just happened with bos? it went offline... trouble with the server...
now all my perscribed threads are gone!

It does it daily. Get over it. One of these topics get made atleast twice a month.

Sever problems can't really be helped - this site gets a lot of traffic so its bound to happen (imagine the nite b4 the hsc). Just go to click all subscribed threads - use the dates and last posts to determine if anything new has been posted :)

nah nah its no problem. i probably worded that wrong. i wanted to just say that the loss of new posts was an effect of the lag. i was just wondering what caused it

Your subscribed threads list in the main User CP gets cleared automatically once every so often, but you are still subscribed to those threads.

As already mentioned, traffic spikes is the usual cause. About a year or two ago before the new upgrade the entire BoS site would be inaccessible for days at a time during the HSC because of the amount of traffic. Yes, the admins decided to pay a higher price for a better server.

yeh ok.
did it happen to everyone else? or was it my connection only...
i was talking to someone from bos at the time and they had the same problem
