What to do if ur intended attatchment is too big? (1 Viewer)

So what do u do? I want to upload some summaries in the chem section of the forum but it always says that the attatchment is too big...any ideas?

Get a smaller attachment.
Host it on your own space and link it in.
Resize the image (if it's an image) and try again.

meh its pdf...i dont have my own space though...thinking about it its only 350k and its too large!! :rolleyes:

i think the limit is 250 but my files 350 damn do u think u can increase the limit...theres not much to upload if theres a 250kb limit

upload to your personal websapce and put a link to the file.

there is a reason the attachment space was reduced from 10 megs a while ago.

lol chemistry syllabuses are not useless junk
well i tried to upload to the main site long ago, but it never appeared on the list :confused: so i'll have to confine myself to uploading to the forums

oh so you want attachment space increased for you only?

i'm not sure if that can be done.

and my chem/physics notes were never accepted either.

no not attachment space just u cant upload a file over a certain limit no matter the attatchment space
so how do u upload to the main site? last time it never worked

Y dont u try putting the document into 2 files e.g. one section in document 1 and the other part in document 2
that will bring down the size and then u mite b able 2 upload it
try it and let me know how it goes
