yesterday i went to parra campus and i saw all these people
heaps and heaps of peoples
there were even 3 buses in the uni
and all these people waiting around at the bus stop near the security office
but it wasnt even orientation day
i wonder wat it was?
who was there?

academic preperation i went and i went again today....most of it was common sense but it gave some good advice

Remember there are also many international students around Parra campus and orientation started recently.

lol. Yes they speak english. International students are so cool. They are so nice. We had 4 germans in our course last year and they were so nice - i wished that they didn't go back to germany.

Theres usually heaps of international students around. Problem is, you actually don't know if they are international unless they say so. But there were well over a dozen international students in my course last year. Most were from Europe, but there were some canadians and americans.

heaps do, many have accents. Brings back memories of this guy trying to pick up a Canadian student and so the guy asks her, 'which university do you recommend in America?' And she is like "I am from Canada!" But he did manage to get a convo going with her.

hehe funny... uhmph i hope lots of international students r at orientation... cos they r so fun, cos we had japanese exchange last year, they were soo cute with their weird fashion sense..
