i know of schools where if you dont get like 70% + in the year 11 yearlies they kick you out ?:|

Selective schools are public institutions. The best they can do is "forcefully recommend" that you go else where.

Really? I guess the school can keep issuing some 'unsatisfactory progress reports' to allow the school to expel the students?

I remember the speech one of our deputies gave us when we joined in year7;
You chose us. We didn't choose you.

... he also said something about kicking us out if we didn't perform, but I don't think anyone has ever been kicked out by force (for not performing academically).

hahahah if that happened at my school then only like 15 people would be allowed to do the HSC!!!
