Oh wait a sec, French in First Year was 5 hours long; oops. And so was Jap. :(

And yes, I am doing 3A! I CAN'T WAIT. :(:(

Hahahaha - it's quite a jump from 2A/B - so let me know how it goes!! I on the other hand.... "Professional French" = DEATH OMGGGGG

That is EXACTLY why im doing my Chemical Engineering Degree with Science (Physics) :)

chill guys i did some philosophy last semester even though i'm supposed to be an engineer, it was pretty interesting.

what the fuck is going on,
the arts - linguistics course outline on the unsw handbook is different to the one from the unsw arts faculty website.

I would be looking at the Handbook - it's more updated these days? Or ring them up before they close for Xmas (end of this week).

The Use of Language (used to be LING1500, a core first-year LING subject, runs in second session) is a completely different subject to Language Universals, which used to be called Language Universals and Linguistic Typology (LING3XXX, third-year non-core subject).

Edit: wait I think I missed what you were getting at. What you linked to are for course outlines (the information you get about the subject during the first lecture usually), with syllabus, assessment details etc; the text becomes hyperlinks closer to session. They're not study plans -- follow the handbook for -which- subjects to do.

linguistics.
i dont wanna do actual languages like japanese, english, french or whatever.
(coz i watch anime in english anyway and i feel as though an english major is too "direct")

as for science,
no thnx. =)
i feel mechanical engineering is sufficent, im into a mix of fun, science and design rather than actual wholesome science.
too much science/engineering makes me a dull boy. :mad1:

i didnt wanna do eng/commerce even if i had the uai, commerce/buisness isnt too much fun.
