every1 probably has their own order of things to look for. some may get lucky and get it on their first go. however, if you are able to do them quickly (with practice), this element doesnt really matter that much.

its just like solving a very difficult maths questions. you try different techniques which dont work. the better students would have more practice and knowledge and know when they have exhausted a particular technique and move onto the next one. while the students with less practice will continue to dwell on a single method.

Does anyone find everything easy about section 3 except the "pick the middle" questions?

Considering they make up about 1/3 of the questions, I think, it's concerning :).

Apart from 2 or 3 q's all the q's are same for everyone. The catch is every booklet is individually numbered and no 2 booklets would have the same q's on a 2 page spread. So no way Hosaayyyyyyy

My god this made my night... :haha: Although no, I also heard its possible to cheat as the answer booklets are different.

Besides, why would you want to get into medicine, knowing you cheated your way in..

who cares, we all know morals of most doctors are not the best.

UMAT has no significance/meaning to medicine, other than its a selection criteria. yeah yeah it asseses your critical thinking, problem solving, empathy blah blah blah.

end of day if i got in by cheating in UMAT, then no skin off my back, i wouldnt want to cheat my way thru a degree though.

BUT i do know how MANY people do get a great result in UMAT by cheating, but I wont mention it here.

best method for tackling s3 would be to find much more difficult questions then those of s3... work on the harder questions-ensure you have the solutions-and you'll find that when you return to s3 style questions they are easy... this works for me and i've prob got 10 of 200 s3 practice questions wrong (which was my own fault considering i didn't read the Q prob=rushing)...

Try it. You can find harder questions from the net.
