SMS makes up about 95% of what i do on my mobile but i think my handset has some of the worst keybads for sms ever (ok they aren't that bad but you get the idea)

i'm seriously considering one of those phones/devices with a small QWERTY keyboard (the Blackberry looks good although very expensive).

does anyone on here have suggestion for very good mobiles for smsing?

thanks!

This doesn't directly answer your question, but I SMS alot for uni/work, and since I'm on the computer alot I use online SMS services.

This is the one I use: Clickatell. It works out to be about 7c an SMS, and they support a heap of interfaces you can send an SMS with (one is SmsDumper)

Most of the time its pretty much instant. Have to keep in mind that SMS is only a best-effort delivery service anyway, there is no guarantee that an SMS sent is actually received on any provider you use.

I'm on a PDA mobile, and I can tell you SMSing is alot quicker. My XDA II Mini is based on the Windows Mobile 3.0 OS and has a qwerty keyboard you set onto the screen. It's way faster than a phone keypad. When I'm at home, I'll have it connected to my computer for sync-ing purposes. I have a .doc file on my desktop which I have labelled as a PDA sync item, so if I need to type a SMS while I'm at home.. all I do is type it up on my computer in that file, and as soon as I save it, the file will sync with the PDA. All I then have to do is load it up on the PDA, copy and paste into the SMS textbox and bam. Extremely quick and convenient.

I want a 6233. But it lacks a Video Calling and a decent camera. It has probably the worst sensor in any phone on the market today.
Agreed on all accounts.

SE is where the phone-imaging powa is.

Its just a matter of registering, and using the ID they give you, if you were in a rush to get it going, that would be why it didn't make sense.

politik, you could have used a thumbnail to your pic, because it can kill 56Kers, not that I am ... and my 2MP phone has roughly the same quality as yours, except quality suffers even more at a distance ...
