I know there's some technique when two consecutive words are almost the same but are slightly different. Whats it called?

Nah its not alliteration. That's just first letter. Theres a name of a technique where too words are basically identical.

The words have to be associated AND slightly spread out (i.e. not consecutive) for it to be a lexical chain
