The Eee runs OpenOffice.org, which is compatible with most MS Office stuff, except macros and a few really complex things.CharlieB said:does anyone here own or has tried the Asus eee?

why buy a prius when you can buy a hummer?Supermodified said:Eees are shit. Unless you have the fingers off a spider monkey, it's impossible to type efficiently with the shitty keyboard. Also, how cheap can you be? You're getting a mini laptop for under $500, yet you still want to save more money.

I tried out one at JBHIFI, and I have to say to type on it properly i.e. touch typing is quite hard because it is so small. Straight after it I tried the macbook air and that was like typing on any other computer.CharlieB said:does anyone here own or has tried the Asus eee?
