That was an easy one. But only a couple textbooks had it.

That pic is for Human Story - it is 'DNA-DNA Hybridisation'

Bullshitted my was through the insect 1 lol...
With my ear diagram after i had labeled it i put a 1,2,3,4ect at different points and described what the sound wave/energy was doing at that specific area.

i do COMMUNICATIONS
with the question asking about the path of soundwaves
were we required to say how it changes from soundwaves to mechanical then electrochemical signals becoz i totally forgot to put that!!!!????

i just had a labelled diagram with the pathway:
pinna --> auditory canal --> tympanic membrane --> ear ossicles --> oval window
--> coclear --> organ of corti --> hair cells --> auditory nerve --> brain

hmm. would that be enough? =/

I don't know. It seems a lot of people, including myself did - but they didn't specifically ask it. Sometimes, at least with my experience of CSSA papers/marking guidelines they do want you to mention things they don't explicitly ask so who knows. This is the HSC though so I'd hope it would be a little more clear. I reckon by the question itself you've done what they asked.

I did the same with human story....learnt a lot more in my opinion. Probably because I would just sit there in class chatting, whereas studying by myself forced me to work. Was that the same for you?
