The 2021 census data was released recently and I'm wondering whether the questions are going to be asking up until 2021 or 2016 census in this years HSC exam? Does anyone know the answer to this? Thanks

Most likely 2021. Last year it was a debate so this year I think it will most definitely be using the latest data.

The 2016 census will be used:
- The 2021 Census was released in October 2022, and the SOR HSC exam was already made by then (questions were already produced)
- Focus more on the 2016 Census, but it is still a good idea to use 2021 Data as it demonstrates to the marker your knowledge

Is this from a NESA source?

This is from my teacher, who is one of the SOR HSC markers. The 2021 census wasn't even out when they made the papers, so we are the last year group to use the 2016 Data.

Why won't NESA just come out and clear the confusion up? The 2021 census was released well before October however and this does technically give enough time to learn it. But I still have no idea..

your better off using the most recent data unless the question doesnt specify for question 11 but for multiys idk. but yea zlum23 is right they wrote the hsc exam before the consensus was released so they wont explicitly ask anything about recent data.
