a few facts:
there have been NO high court judges in all of Australia's history having come from south Australia.
years ago, I went to info sessions on 3 law schools: UTS JD program, UNSW, and USYD.
i was clearly impressed with the Usyd the most, since that previous dean (the blind guy) pointed out 100 more reasons than unsw or UTS why its the leader. check out wiki for alums of each uni and compare yourself. check out the judges and politicians qualifications. look up top tier firm partner's qualifications, and you will notice a pattern. the UNSW law school was funny. the dean kept telling us how good it was, but didnt really give a clear reason why. the UTS spokesperson pointed out that they had a really good central location and a top library.
Harvard law school chose the only Australian university that it would associate its name with, for exchanges: usyd.
