I just started year 12 and i wanted to ask what are the main physics option modules like from experience what is the content and just some background info on them please

I personally did Quanta to Quarks, which i reckon is one of the more popular option topics. You learn about the developements of the model of an atom, radioactivity and nuclear physics. Its pretty interesting because you take a look at how atomic bombs and stuff are made. Also its pretty much rote learning because the questions usually get recycled every couple of years.

I did medical physics - You learn about ultrasound, X-Rays, endoscopy, PET scan, CAT scans, MRI, etc.

For each of them you will learn about how each of the scans is carried out and the principles upon which they work

Medical Physics doesn't link to any of the core modules but I think Pauli's Exclusion Principle from Quanta to Quarks is related to some aspects of From Ideas to Implementation
