which textbook do u use for engineering studies and which is the most summarised of them all....:confused:

back when i did it, i used "Engineering Studies: The Definitive Guide" by Paul L. Copeland
i think the excel one is longer.. i don't know, i never used the excel one.

My post may sound irrelevant. But I actually tried out for Engineering Studies so I know some good textbooks. I was going to use the Excel Engineering Studies. It is outlined very well and some schools actually use this as a textbook (believe it or not).

we use Engineering: The Definitive Guide by Paul. L. Copeland though we rarely use it. I bought the Excel as well and i prefer it

we use a combination of the following:

- The OTEN Engineering book
-Copeland
- an engineering mechanics book, can't rember the author, really good.

yea we use the OTEN one but its soo big and maybe a bit too detailed.. yea excel seems alright but havent seen the copeland one though.. thanks anyway

im doing engineering studies and i dnt really have a clue whats going in there thats why ive taken like 6 textbooks from the books we got but EXCEL which is proberly the only one ive looked at seems the be the best and our teacher gives us photocopys of some type of engineering tafe course thing and that is pretty good aswell

We use the OTEN book and i use the copeland, excel and a brown book on mechanics by Schlenker. The Copeland book is really good for civil and the excel book is pretty good for everything. The Schlenker book is really really detailed but is good for examples on the harder mechanics type questions.
