5-6 artists in detail
I must sound like a total fool, but is that what the standard is in those essays??? Full stop!??

How did I get away with just doing 4 artists in my trial? I landed a 91%, 3rd/33

Meh, trials, but do answer my question, although I'm doing five anyway

yeah I'm only doing four artists now. I mean I got 96% for the essay section so I guess its worth sticking to!

uhm is it a bad thing to choose rather obscure artists? Just wondering because some of mine are, and I'm wondering if the markers would care and stuff like that

dada - duchamp
pop art - warhol
performance art - sproul

these three have never let me down and i find that they're enough. my teach's a hsc marker and she says theyd rather you talk about artists in depth than talk about a lot superficially.

caboodles, i'm dogin a couple of obscure contemporay artists too. I called up the advise line to ask, and they said it was fine, as long as it's justifiable as to why you picked them, and also not to base your ENTIRE essay on obscure artists. i think it's good, because the markers won't have to read all these essays on the same artsists. they give out marks for originality right?
