LOL! I hate it too, mainly because it's almost impossible in probability to be 100% sure to get the question right.

That's exactly why I hate it! And tree diagrams?? Argh, so frustrating. I swear, if they ask a question in my trials involving the probability of coloured marbles I will shoot someone.

Sometimes it can be confusing but I find it alright.

It was difficult at first. But its not too bad.
Just need to learn the process step by step and understand it.

If you can follow the process for one pass paper, and understand that, you should be able to apply to any question or scenario

Even my maths tutor hates it and questions why it's on the syllabus.. Maybe I should be thankful it isn't calculus or something else 'Mathematics' people have to do.

I have to teach it. I always hate it, too.

The weird thing is, Gen maths probability is harder than 2 unit, cause the 2 unit students don't do perms and combs.

Recently I got 11.5/12 for perm+comb section of 3u exam, where the average was ~6/12.
