Ok, so after tomorrow's training, I'm going to hunt around for a fun but easy unit... maybe a first-year subject :p Media, Music...? Or *gasp* maybe I'll take up an Ancient History unit...
why? if it's because you feel guilty and you don't need the credit points, don't do it. by the way, if you're considered part time for one semester and full time for the other, you're considered a full time student overall. i felt guilty and enrolled myself in a subject i didn't need to do and dropped it a few weeks later and was part time for that semester.

sure?

I'm just freaked out on missing benefits, eg concession card etc.

That being said, it might be fun to pick up vocal studies :)

yep, i still got all the benefits including the concession card (it might have something to do with the fact that i enrolled originally as full time for both semesters, BUT i am pretty sure it didn't). i was also freaked out at being considered 'part time' but after i started that subject which was hell boring, i didn't care in the slightest.

If it's just about the concession card: Enroll in 3 units, get the card, and then drop a unit.

However, I think there is more to it than the card, the Centrelink things require you to have been studying constantly full time, or studying constanly part time and working the other part of your time. Some of the allowances/help thingos are also retrospective and will penalise you if you stopped studying full time for no good reason.

I don't know if you're on Centrelink at the moment, but it may come up when you move out. I'm also sure that Centrelink is just one thing - there may be other penalties, eg ATO.

Anyway, my point is to find out about it properly.

Nah, I'm too lazy for that ;) I live at home - but the unit does sound interesting, and it'll be a welcome break from all the creative writing I'll be doing :) *likes prac-based units*

Uh oh.

MUS 205 / F / 1 / D Lecture_1 Class_01 Tue 14 F9C 140
Tutorial_1 Class_01 Tue 15 F9C 140
Class_02 Tue 16 F9C 140
Class_04 Tue 16 W6A 607
Class_03 Tue 17 F9C 140

In other words, it clashes with my work. >.<

Will chat to my boss about it... maybe another teacher can swap over for tuesday, and I'll do Saturdays...

Semester One:

BBA340 (NB: may do it in 2nd semester, depends if i go Denmark or not)
HRM207 (formerly BBA207)
HRM317
PSY307

Semester Two:

HRM 307
HRM 327
Undecided elective (NB: may do this elective in Denmark)

but i got a problem, because to do HRM317 in the 2007 handbook it says HRM/BBA207 is a prerequisite. but when i was planning my trip to Canada using the 2005 handbook it didnt have it down as a prerequisite. so can i still ask to do HRM317, because i remember hearing that the rules apply to us depending on the year we started uni, does this extend to the prerequisites for units as well? hope that made sense
