I think the best thing about uni will be starting afresh

REINVENTION= the key

No one will know me except my closest friends, then I just be myself and make new friends and not have to worry about being disliked for having a brain and wanting to achieve beyond living in a truck stop diner, with a wife that looks like a two dollar hooker with the eight kids and the beer gut...and the rabbit ear antenna

So yes

Uni will be a great change
hahaha closet case found

Uni is great fun kids!

I love the endless amounts of work, and the fact that eventhough you finished the 10 assignments you had this week, theres still another pile that need doing the next week. I love leaving the house at 8am and not arriving home until 7pm, and then trying to hang out all my washing in the dark. Did I mention i really enjoy circling the parking lot for up to 2 hours just to find a park, and by the time you find a park youve missed several classes.

So maybe its not all so bad, sure you meet some awesome people, do some awesome stuff and for some of you even escape the evil clutches of your parents, BUT, uni isnt a great deal better than school.

Sure, be excited about uni, but dont spend so much time focusing on uni and whats to come that you stop realising just how good you have it at school. Enjoy being able to wiggle your way out of any tight spot with a letter from your mummy or daddy and hanging around your friends everyday... Because come the end of the HSC its all going to be over and youll never realise how great you really had it at school.

ahahahaha major LOLZ!

Yea kids, it's true. Travelling through Redfern at night after a horrible exam that resembles none of the practice questions your university lecturers give you, is just total awesome fun. Add to that the fact that you have to PAY to do your online assessments, because we ALL love paying more and more money...

Oh, let's not forget the total DODGY-ness of university. Who doesn't like dishing out $8,000 a year (oh, while going $12,000 into debt every year at the same time), for university exams that require you to write all your name/number/details DURING the exam.. whilst examiners stop you every 15 minutes or so to mention a MISTAKE in a question you completed the previous HOUR!!!!! ARGHHHHH!!!

But apart from all that, uni is sooo much fun. I love paying $4.00 for a cup of soggy wedges that look like they've just parted company with someone's DIARRHOEA!

Yes. Uni is much much fun.

I know, sometimes even my own optimism scares me.

On a serious note, there is not really an equal compairson, there are positives and negatives with each. I like the degree of freedom i get at uni, and that nobody really gives a shit if i dont turn up or decide to sleep in one morning. BUT, that being said, i no longer live at home. Its quite a common sight to see me hanging the clothes out on the line in the dead of night in the 15 minute break i have between attempting to complete an impossibly difficult and neverending pile of assignments. However, the washing problem may cease given that i am nearing the end of my funds with which to buy clothing and washing powder and my bed sheet is looking like a very liable substitute. Yet, school is great in some ways uni is not, you have support from the friends you see without fail each day, you have a great relationship with teachers and they are willing to go to great lengths to help you. But, on the same hand, school as we know isnt the friendliest place on earth and even i will admit that it was good to get away and no longer have to socialise with some of the more undesirable personalities in the playground.

Overall, i prefer uni. But what im trying to get at is that school is great too and make the most of it while youre there and dont take all of the stuff you get there for granted, because its all going to come to an end soon!
