and i heard at the end u get a different titled degree than the ones given at other Unis, eg. UNSW, Monash, so what's the difference between them?

i got offer for med a uncle too!
not sure if i'll got though coz i have 1 year left of sci@unsw and could go for med@usyd uni via gamstat and stay in syd and it'd take the same time....

let me kno what u guys think?
would it be better for a career in med to have a Bsci too?

a BSci is handy.. but i think its only really got more value if u got the honours which i assume u are doing... since its taken 4 yrs..

whether u take it.. depends on 2 variables.. GAMSAT performance and Usyd interview..

Ur call u have a med course and u have the above things to worry about .. do u think its worth it?

depends on what you want to do really, whether you want to pay for the boarding in newcastle, living away from home (not getting your BSci)
I did BSci at usyd too, it's not going to help you much in anyway i dont think, unless you want to make your business card look more pro.

i dont think you can defer
newc only allow deferments if you're doing honours/postgraduate studies or you need to work for $$ or travel or something

the course sounds great but newcastle is far from the sydney, but i guess i can still commute back home on weekends...

Well congrats on the newcastle offer!

i changed to med as well after 2 years at usyd science

like in the end, you don't really need the science degree (it just feels like a waste of 2 years, but then theres such thing as wasted knowledge)

besides, the degree is valid for 10 years (you can go back and finish it off if you want your money's worth
