I guess when you recieve your marks you'll have a rough idea of what your uai is gonna be.

But are you gonna use sam, and risk:

one - being dissapointed by the estimation
two - getting a good estimation and being dissapointed the next day cause the estimation is way off track

I think i might use it and get my estimation... Oh the suspense

hahaha, same here ;)

uhmm.. Thanks for this post, it seems that both options may lead to dissapointment, so i am just going to wait for my uai lol.
but i might get tempted by sam and check lol.

Sam is pretty accurate. It estimated my brother's UAI to be 49.3, and my brother's UAI came out to be 49.5.

Ohhh, I've got that program. So, is it really accurate? I'll test it with my brother's marks and let you guys know whether or not it is accurate.

RESULTS: Well, it isn't TOO accurate. My brother actually got a UAI of 48.35, and it underestimated it by 1.2%. It predicted a UAI of 47.15.

Think about how pleasantly surprised your brother would have been, exceeding Einstein's expectations by 1.2%

[Personally, I'd rather something like SAM underestimated my actual UAI... at least then I'd be a little happier the next day]

AHAHAHAHAHA, are you being serious?

He wouldn't have cared either way. He wouldn't have gone to Uni or TAFE or onto any further study no matter his UAI.
