1. You might be surprised as to which subjects make it into your top 10 units

But unless its clear cut that you damn suck at chem then drop as you wish.

i have that dilemma too!

but dropping is such a waste of nearly 2 years!

argh, but not dropping means potentially wasting more time and not having it counted in the final UAI...

shouldn't you have thought of this BEFORE you chose the subject? Anyway, if you like it, you do well in it, and it scales well, keep it. You never know, you may want to pursue a science related career in the future.

stick with it
look how much you've done. only a few more months, it's not worth it to drop
i spent a whole year thinking about dropping bio because i hated it and keeping eng ext, which i sucked at, because i loved it
i kept both, and in the end, half of bio counted, ext. english didn't

do the english for interest, but keep chem for the sake of your UAI

I really enjoyed some of the limited chem stuff i did in yr9 & 10 so i wanted to do it for yr11. i still really enjoy the subject and my teacher. i guess i enjoy the pracs more than the theory stuff tho~ my results from some of my exams were really crap!! OMG!~ but i think I will continue to do this subject! I don't think that you should drop chem, stick with it. I find it an interesting subject.

Thats why I chose it, and I'm glad I did. But I don't advise you do it if you're going to make a chore of it or if you're going to complain about it either.

Be a man. choose!
