i've got a pc running windows media centre edition and i've got the fancy keyboard and remote and stuff. the only problem is i'm totally over the annoying pointer that you're supposed to use as a mouse on the keyboard.
i have a wireless mouse thats supposed to have a range of about 5 metres, but i find that it isnt strong enough in my open lounge room, so i need something with a range of closer to 10m or so.... would bluetooth be a better option?

Can you even see what you're pointing at 10m away?
it's not that i'll be actually using it 10m away, its just that my mouse with a 5m range becomes really erratic at the longer end of its range, so i was thinking a 10m range would give me the signal i need at 5m....

thanks for your advice though :)

My wireless Logitech MX Duo do 25m easily with no problems and theyre a good year and a half old now. I dunno what the new models are like, but the bluetooth MX900 only has half the range (from my experience) of the wireless MX700 in the duo.
