How many words is the absolute minimum for the entire PIP?

The minimum for the central material is 2500, and the other three sections say "up to 500 words".

I suppose you can write anywhere between 1 and 500 words for each of those sections, but it may be difficult to attain a decent mark if you write heaps under 500 for each..

So, in other words, the pip should be anywhere between 3000 and 5500 words.
