It's true that the SC is easy and has basically no impact on your future life. So don't stress about it. And there is nothing to worry about. Just make sure you know the most basic concepts of maths and you'll be fine.

lol the SC is EASY.. so don't worry.
I was in advanced in year 10 and most of the stuff I learnt wasn't even in it. It actually seemed like general ability. you can just coast through year 9 and 10.:)

If you understand the stuff you're doing now, you can do the SC right away :)

I'm going to say what's probably been said in the previous 3 pages of post.
Do not worry!
Or else you might be a crazy when you get into Year 12. At times like those, I am glad I don't live in Amerrikka!

ditto.

worried about the sc?
bah! as if!
we had our formal the day after the sc so the last thing i was concerned about was the sc..
i ended up get straight 89's for eveyrthing but eng which was 93.
i think that 93 was attributable to my creative story about aborig. dispossession and it's effects.. ahha...
i figured they must like that kind of thing seeing as in year 10, i had studied aboriginals in eng&art&hist&geo&pdhpe all at the same time..

but my tip for u...
make sure u know all ur maths from all ur years..
it's the only thing that actually carrieson throughout the hsc.
and anywya..
aernt they getting rid of the sc?
noone will even care about ur results soon after
so relax!

Agreed, just plug away at maths every night (like I'm not) and don't worry - be happy! Enjoy your youth while it lasts, because the HSC will age you quickly :D

anyways yeah i did the same thing, slept through it all and got bands 4 and 5 and it doesnt even go towards anything.

NO ONE SHOULD WORRY ABOUT THE SC.

and "light_~@~ngel" youre in year nine, youre not doing the SC.
sources tell me that this year is the final year for the SC.

Yeh i agree with everyone else here. I didn't pick up one book ... as in I didn't study, at all. like. at all. and I got all band 5's and 2 in band 6. (and a 99 on the computer one, what a joke!)

really ... do not worry. it's not like the university government tests because I always do badly in them so don't worry about that!!!

edit: btw the bands aren't the most important thing. ontop of ur bands you get ur grades which in my opinion is the most important thing as it is ur whole year's work rather then just one test.

Hey, don't worry about the SC it's not that bad...

LOL, I'm pretty crap at maths but I still managed a mid band 5 so yeah.. you'll do fine. =]

Just remember...there's no need to stress over the formulas as they provide it during the actual exam...and yeah..lol don't stress overall...the SC is cool!

School Certificate is a true joke....no study = straight band 6's/

The only thing u need to know is ur times tables coz they fucked me over in the non calculator section....which truly sucked. Trust me, if ur being accelerated you'll breeze through the SC
