Going shopping in Sydney soon for my formal dress and was wondering if anyone has any suggestions. I don't want something run of the mill so was hoping for any boutique or smaller shop suggestions?

Have you tried online? To look for designs of dresses?
If you had your dress made, it'd be more unique, etc.
Like a friend of mine has found aspects from different dresses which she is using to make her dress.

Since we're doing pix of dresses. I know this may seem a tad obsessive [I've only watched like 1 episode less of the first season]. But I love Katherine Pierce [Nina Dobrev] and the dresses they put her in VD are stunning.
I don't know if I want a short dress or long. I kind of want the shorter op, but everyone's been telling me to go with the longer ops.
