hey...wasn't opera house opened sometime around 1972 too....??
..and..Aboriginal Tent Embasy set up on the lawns of Parliament House, Canberra too.

Actually Italy was on our side, and a more expanded list includes:
Belgium, British Empire (Australia, Canada, India, New Zealand, South Africa, United Kingdom), France, French colonies around the world, Greece, Italy, Japan, Montenegro, Romania, Russia, Serbia and United States (1917+).

On the German side, Austria-Hungary, Bulgaria, Germany, Turkey.
I have plenty of books on World War 1 and 2.

Italy started on there side, they joined the triple alliance in 1882, ahh the brilliance of multi tasking....
