Have you told them yet?
I told my parents I got 89.55 and they were pleased. My dad said he expected me to get in the 70s.

Guess my Christmas isn't gonna be so stank.

Yup!

Just then.

Lynn: "Mum, can I have some chocolate?"
Mum: "Today, you can have anything you like!"
Lynn: "Ooh, that's dangerous..."

Told my parents my UAI. 81.65, they are heaps pleased. It is all good. But it sucks to know you could of gotten in the high 80's if you studied.

My parents are happy I got into uni (UoW), I got 75.2 and went for Early Entry so I have a guaranteed entry to B. Internet Science and Technology, I wanted to do Comp. Sci but need a minimum maths mark of 75 but I got 71. I'll have to call the faculty on Monday to plead my case, I hope I can get into Comp. Sci, eitherway its a win win for me.

I haqven't told my parents yet, cause they're still out. I got 98.35. My mum said earlier this year that I might have to look at other options besides uni, cause she thought I'd get a uai in the 70's, cause my brother got 60something. Well, I think she might be expecting something a little higher now, since my hsc results came out and i did pretty well but yeah, even I wasn't expecting that.

Selphi, you'll describe your mum's reaction for us won't you?

Wish I could do the same to my parents.
Yea, I'm trying to experience it through you. :)
