there is a HSC latin board, but im looking for anyone doing latin in yr 11 for some early discussion of next years course

at our school (Grammar) all we do is translation of real texts.
there is very little new latin grammar.
unless you're prepared to try and translate unseen for yourself, i've found it's really difficult to stay in touch with vocab and all that, because the teacher translates it for you
anyway, i like translating real latin, so i'm really enjoying yr11
(virgil is the best)

but in terms of literary achievement. he has no peer
the Aeneid is genuinely exciting to read
and the extended similes and the poetic structure does grow on you
