I only did it to demostrate my point. Normally you would leave all answers as such unless explicitly asked to evaluate or its a really nice number. Besides it saves time playing with the calculator ;)

I heard grads are used in navigation and military or somewhere along those lines... we don't need it in high school though.

hey i must be missing something obvious cause i keep getting retarded answers for part c of the original question. help me please, i know i should be getting it right but i have nfi whats goin wrong.

wait dont worry i see how stupid i was now. was forgetting to multiply both sides by a^2 or b^2 after i began equating them. im a bloody dumbass cause i always make these stupid mistakes
