Tried 90kg, decided fixing my back squat was too difficult, cbf

Front squats 4lyfe, much more upright.

i did 90 last week working up towards it, did 4 reps, last one wasnt clean
dont do front squats, find them weird, but respect to those who can, works hams/glutes better

so it was:
60 x 10
70 x 8
80 x 6
90 x 4
and back down again

been doing them for half as long as ive been lifting, so about 4 months

was gonna do a hundred today but uni is FUCKING KILLING ME

nah, THATS pretty epic

sidenote:
did squats today to make up for yesterday, power racks were taken when i got there so i tried pre-exhaustion
so:
100kg leg extension for 3 x 10 (maxing out machines feels good man)
50kg (no olympic bars avaliable) stiff legged deadlifts 3 x10
then
Squats, i managed
60 x 10
70 x 8
80 x 4 (long break)
60 x 10
shhhiiiitttt son

also cable crunched 32kgs, u mad?

fml i am getting nowhere and making no progress.
i really need to eat so much more than i currently do.
i made about 5kgs in 7 weeks since i started and since then i've plateaued a little

65kgs, 175?cm, fairly heavy too :p
this weekend might go buy a years worth of mass building powder, probs True-Mass at chemist warehouse where its cheap

yeah my lifts arent improving and im not happy with any of it (hit 27.5s with db press on monday, which is okay i spose considering i didnt gym at all last week) and i think it's becasue of my diet which is sometimes good and sometimes shyte

thats pretty good mate, i cant do 27.5s, i did 25s on incline this week and my chest was sore as hell lol, felt good man
and thats classic uni diet, i reckon the only way to beat that is to train harder

but, i reckon the cleaner your bulk is, the more you can put on without the fat, that is, increase more calories and hence muscle gain than on a dirty bulk

i need an excellent and movitvating buddy to do better.

earlier this sem i squatted 60, 70, 80, 70, for 10 reps each, after an epic warmup. this was like after skipping a week or 2 of gym and not having gym'd during holidays (4months of inaction) and i had a GOOD MOTIVATING BUDDY WHO ALSO SPOTTED (tiny bit awkward).

and last year i 100% flat pressed 30s (worked up to it, i think i did 17.5/25/27.5/30) and i was like homg, and i had an EXCELLENT SPOTTER/MOTIVATING BUDDY.
also last year i managed to do my pb bench for 3x5 and the only reason i even attempted it was because i had Odin spotting me.

it helps when you have the son of Zeus helping you as well

i find pumping music helps to get you motivated, and i generally dont use a spotter
go at it solo, if you cant finish the rep, focus on the concentric part of the final 2 or so reps or do burn sets
i generally do a burn set for most exercises and that may/may not help you with your gains

also, a squat spotter is the most awkward thing, just use the safety bars

he spotted me with a finger so it was all me baby and i was insanely happy with that performance of mine, no idea wtf my bodyw8 is fucktuating so much though, cos i was 62.45kg according to electric scales when i benched 80, and now i am 64 and i struggle with 70.
last year i pulled off 70 comfortably on the incline press FIRST DAY IN THE GYM, WHY WAS I SO EPIC LAST YEAR WHEN I WAS ONLY GYMMING ONCE A WEEK, AND WHY AM I WORSE THIS YEAR WHEN IM GOIGN TWICE NOW AND NOW INCORPORATING DEADRIFTS?

you're being sarcastic when you say you're "fairly heavy too" right ? At 175, you should be aiming well into the 70s.
