I have a casio.

But wait, how come my casio has never had to have a battery change? I've had it for over 3 years now. What if it dies in the middle of my HSC? How long do the batteries last haha?
That's why I'm going to bring 2 calculators into the exam. :p A few people have changed their casio's battery after 2 - 4 years. I guess it just depends on how often you use it.

Okay memo to self, buy a new calculator to take in as a spare in the HSC exam. I hope I can get the same style I think it's a fx82 or something but the juniors all have newer ones which I tried to use for stats once and freaked out because it was slightly different :p

only thing i like better about casio is that it has complex numbers
Whut?!
I switched from Sharp to Casio in 09. I don't regret the decision. Casio FX-82AU PLUS is great but I suggest you use what you've been using so you don't get confused or waste time trying to figure it out.
This... exactly this.

Casio FX82AU, except the one with the maroon buttons. The newer one with oranges buttons is terrifying.
