I'm looking at exemplar responses and they're all upwards of 12 pages. Maybe the paper they used had less lines in 2002, but it has got me worried...
17,18,19In internals, I've gotten away with 5-page responses and received 17, 18 and 19 for them. That said, they were about 900 words each, so I suppose my writing's just small?
Where are you reading 2011 exemplar responses?17,18,19
talking about english or eco?
If someone writes succinctly, 800-900 could be enough for near full marks imo. I checked some of the exemplar responses from this 2011, they don't explain things in detail e.g. keynesian cross, all they say "increase in AD, increase in national income from ..." without elaborating on it.
but really, don't worry, its not about length. quality.
I tend to write a lot of eco, but only because I feel the need to explain every little thing/policy I bring up.
Talking about eco. My english is something I don't even want to think about. Yeah, I like bringing up random things that probably aren't relevant.17,18,19

Any idea how i can get my hands on this book? I've had a quick google search and can't seem to find anythingThere's a book that BOS publishes that has them. And to chip into OP's question, I'm not sure if there is a required length for B6- I just like to write as much as I can haha because I feel like I'm missing an oppurtunity if I'm not writing for the entire 3 hours lol
True, but I reckon this as well:Quality not quantity
Quality + Quantity > Quality or Quantity. I don't know personally why everyone always goes quality over quantity:
Obviously though an 800 word essay that answers the question is WAY better to a 1000 word one that doesn't but other things being equal, the longer the better. Though you can easily get full marks with 850 words (if its very good)
Exactly - your essay ideally should have both. As my Modern teacher used to say, quantity sometimes has a certain quality to it.
