What's the answer for a?the answer on the back of the maths book says B) is 16
I don't do general, but anyways hereHi. topic is applicaion of probability which is expected outcomes.
1) Two cards are selectec at random from a normal playing pack with replacement. This experiment is repeated 2704 times with the cards being replaced each time.
a)What is the expected numbers of times the result would be two spades?
b)What is the expected numbers of times the result would be two aces?
Yep, that's what I got But wouldnt it be the same for B aswell?a) 1/4 x 1/4 = 1/16. 2704 x 1/16 = 169. I think thats how you do it.
