Hey people who do history extension or r doing projects that require footnoting, can I copy word for word something but then footnote it or do I have to paraphrase it? Also, do I include my footnotes in the bibliography, I added some random sources just to beef it up so my teachers didnt mark me down when I handed in my proposal and stuff so should I still have them there even tho I'm not mentioning them in the essay? At 1762 words rn.

If you copy word for word then you should quote it as it's not your words also footnotes should be used for either when you quote something or you take someone else's facts, ideas so if you do paraphrase something footnote it and last time I checked bibliography shouldn't have footnotes as it should just list out what sources you have used

Because it's easier to get to some places via trains because Sydney has Traffic and also because some places either have no parking or are a pain to get to via car
