bro listened to trumpnot joking
nu uh lets not dive into semantics you said “I think it depends on the reason” as part of your opinionemotional and personal views, I did start with I think...
Lmao I did didn't Inu uh lets not dive into semantics you said “I think it depends on the reason” as part of your opinion
however the fact that you stated morality is inherently shaped by western upbringing
Yes and 2 days agobe honest, do you want to eat a dog or cat? it really seems like you do. i also can’t remember the last time i ate pork so
exactly, aren’t there like tribes somewhere that do eat people for a certain ritual??? papua new guinea i think. does that mean there’s morally nothing wrong with eating people? if anyone says it’s not the same thing, i don’t agree, because we are able to compare animals to a certain age of a human. my point being, just because some cultures do it doesn’t mean it’s right. anyways, this argument is stupid and you can eat cats and dogs if you want but i hope you get what’s coming to youWhat if I justified cannibalism the same way 'Why would you eat a human if chicken is more morally acceptable' - is that statement shaped by a western upbringing?
It's not intelligence, it's emotional sensitivity. Dogs especially are very emotionally sensitive animals and farming and slaughtering them would cause outsized emotional distress compared to current livestock animals.Do you want a sentimental answer or a serious answer?
Sentimental: Because people see them as pets and typically 'more intelligent' than farm animals
Serious: Because they're carnivores and can harbour diseases that herbivores (eg. cows, sheep) do not as a result of their meat diet
bruh make your own ragebait sylvia you've been slacking off recentlyIt's not intelligence, it's emotional sensitivity. Dogs especially are very emotionally sensitive animals and farming and slaughtering them would cause outsized emotional distress compared to current livestock animals.
We don't farm carnivores primarily because it's extremely inefficient - you need to feed animals which are then fed to animals you want to use for meat. Instead, we can just feed herbivorous animals we want directly and not have to feed an animal as feedstock .
Sorry bro i just cant help myself when i see somebody being wrongbruh make your own ragebait sylvia you've been slacking off recently
trying to get in on this convo smh
nah but you could substitute chickens for dogs like:Lmao I did didn't I

idk where i'm going with this now, i'm a vegetarian bye T-T
nah they mostly stopped doing it around 50 years ago, it was also killing a ton of them through kuruexactly, aren’t there like tribes somewhere that do eat people for a certain ritual??? papua new guinea i think. does that mean there’s morally nothing wrong with eating people? if anyone says it’s not the same thing, i don’t agree, because we are able to compare animals to a certain age of a human. my point being, just because some cultures do it doesn’t mean it’s right. anyways, this argument is stupid and you can eat cats and dogs if you want but i hope you get what’s coming to you
Yh i got what synthesis meant. My statement was largely influenced by a western upbringing.nah but you could substitute chickens for dogs like:
"Why would you eat a human if dog is more morally acceptable?"
but ion see how you justify your original statement relating dogs to chickens without it being shaped by western upbringing.
i’m not letting any of you anywhere near my pets ong
I wouldn't eat dogs or cats but how tf is it more ethical to farm/eat a chicken/cow than a cat or dog?Ong like if being fr, even aside from western upbringing, eating dogs and cats is crazy. Dogs and cats are meant to be companions to human beings and have been through generations. Its more along the lines of dog and cats are more useful alive than eaten. We have an abundance in better meats such as beef and chicken which have various advantages such as protein etc. Its just not only unethical but useless to eat cats or dogs. Also they pose various health risks when eaten. So at the end of the day. Eat cats and dogs people.
Eating a dog or cat is just self-harming yourself and putting others at risk. Dog meat has multiple viruses in it and is generally not safe to eat, similar to cats. You are just ruining your life and others, by gaining diseases and spreading them. Chicken and Beef do not pose any health risks as most meats are prepared in safe ways, unlike dog, which even if prepared safely can have negative health effects. Thus my point is proven.I wouldn't eat dogs or cats but how tf is it more ethical to farm/eat a chicken/cow than a cat or dog?
